The Match was a real confidence booster for the boys (and Imo), after winning 6-1 against Marlborough.

   After the beating we took from Greenmeadow the week before Malcolm was still lying low, so Coach Pont organized the boys for this match. All the boys (and Imo) put in a fine performance and made the match a pleasure to watch. Roberto scored a magnificent goal from the edge of the box, along with Imo who also scored one from inside the box. I'd given Josh his 'Weetabix' in the morning, and he was raring to go. He was brought on just before halftime and managed to score 2, with a further 2 just after half-time, at which point he was subbed!? (anybody know of any good coaches looking for a job?) Seriously though, Coach Pont did a great job organizing the boys and although it was only a friendly, the result showed what a big stick can achieve!
